Welcome to our practice! I am the friendly face at the front desk. I've always felt comfortable in a dental office because I grew up with one in my front yard. My dad's office was always an exciting place for me to go, as a patient and an employee. In 2006 we moved to Fairbanks where my husband served as the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at Ft. Wainwright. Between family, friends and colleagues I can safely say there has not been one day of my life when I was not in the company of a dentist who cared about me. It is important to me that each of you enjoy that same feeling of ease and confidence in our office. I started working with Dr. Wappett in 2010. I love to find ways to help people smile and that includes building confidence to share their smile! I am happy to answer your questions, plan for appointments, help resolve concerns and make your visits positive. Dr. Wappett and Dr. Lovejoy are fantastic doctors to work with, as they are highly skilled and fun to be around. I love the energy of our team that shares my primary goal which is to help you!
My husband and I have four children and we love living in Fairbanks. I enjoy being outside and taking pictures of Alaska's beauty and writing about our adventures in life and thought. I value my faith, family and friends and hold a strong belief that the people we serve give my life meaning.
Insurance and Billing Specialist
As your insurance and billing specialist, I am here to assist you through explaining and discussing your insurance benefits and processing dental claims. I enjoy working with you on the financial aspects of your dental needs. I've been with Dr. Wappett's office since July, 2016. I appreciate how positive the environment is here. We all work extremely well together to provide the best service for you. Our staff is very warm and inviting. I love the positive energy felt by everyone and I really appreciate the attentive care our doctors and team strive to provide, as individuals and collevtively, to each patient.
My husband and I have 3 children. We all made the trek from Washington State in 2015 to live our version of the Alaskan dream. I love doing all things outdoorsy with my family. If you catch me in a moment alone you might find me sewing, crafting or repurposing an old treasure into something new.

As your patient liason you may hear my voice when you call the office, or find a postcard or letter in your mailbox as I help you maintin the recommended frequency for your preventive appointments.
I am a Certified Nurse's Assistant
I like to be outside and and enjoy reading.
I moved to Fairbanks from the DC area with my husband who is going to school at UAF for petroleum engineering. I studied fine arts in Virginia before making the transition to the dental field. Now that I’m here, I can’t imagine working with a better group of people! Everyone is so nice and patient, and they’ve really helped me feel at home. I enjoy helping patients feel better about their dental care by providing a calm atmosphere and getting to know them on a more personal level.
I like to exercise my creativity by painting, and love going camping, hiking, and driving through the natural beauty that surrounds Fairbanks.
I was raised in a small town in Southeast Idaho where I was active in dance, gymnastics, cheerleading, drill team and pageants. With always being focused on facial expressions and smiling I fell in love with the true beauty of a smile. I graduated from my dental assisting course in 2007 and started assisting in Orthodontics. In 2013 I enlisted in the United States Army Reserve, where I met my husband. We are now stationed here in Alaska.
I started working for Dr. Wappett in 2015. I feel blessed to be here and could not imagine a better or more positive working environment. I respect the knowledge, kindness and excellent skill of our doctors that enables us to provide the best dental care possible. The teamwork and upbeat attitudes shown from all of the staff make each work day a great day. Along with the guidance of two wonderful doctors and great co-workers, I enjoy getting to know each patient. I like to stay active. I enjoy running, working out and exploring Alaska with my husband and our two dogs.
