We recognize that all of our patients are unique and deserve to receive dental care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented dental team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding dental experience every time you visit our practice. We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
Welcome to our practice! I am the friendly face at the front desk. I love to find ways to help people smile and that includes building confidence to share their smile! I am happy to answer your questions, plan for appointments, help resolve concerns and make your visits positive. It is important to me that each of you enjoy a feeling of ease and confidence in our office. I have been with Dr. Wappett's office since July, 2016. I appreciate how positive the environment is here. We all work extremely well together to provide the best service for you. Our staff is very warm and inviting. I love the positive energy felt by everyone and I really appreciate the attentive care our doctors and team strive to provide, as individuals and collectively, to each patient.
My husband and I have 3 children. We all made the trek from Washington State in 2015 to live our version of the Alaskan dream. I love doing all things outdoorsy with my family. If you catch me in a moment alone you might find me sewing, crafting or repurposing an old treasure into something new.
Insurance and Billing Specialist
As your insurance and billing specialist, I am here to assist you through explaining and discussing your insurance benefits and processing dental claims. I enjoy working with you on the financial aspects of your dental needs.
As a longtime member of the Fairbanks community, I have been providing customer service for over ten years.
I graduated with Cum Laude Honors from UAF in 2014 with an AAS majoring in Applied Business and a one year certificate degree in Applied Business Management. While obtaining these degrees I had set out for, I decided to also enlist and serve in The United States Navy Reserve to help pay for my education. My enlistment ended in 2016 as a Third Class Petty Officer.
It is truly a blessing to work for employers who genuinely care for and respect their patients and employees. We are staffed with people who really understand the meaning of teamwork. Andrew Wappet Family Dentistry has a fun yet professional atmosphere that makes coming to work each day a positive experience.
Administrative and Dental Assistant
You will see me in both the front and back office. I am responsible for all of the ordering and managing inventory. I will help you schedule your appointments and answer your questions while you're in the office or on the phone. I also assist the doctors and hygieniests clinically. In high school I knew I wanted to work in the dental field. I enjoy working with our team and my goal is become fully trained as a Dental Assistant.
Our team is full of diverse and enjoyable personalities. Everyone works as hard as they can to create an organized, enjoyable and welcoming workplace. When I'm not at work I love being outdoors, especially in the summer. I like almost any type of sport but my favorite, by far, is volleyball. In my spare time I enjoy playing piano, drawing and painting.
I moved to Fairbanks from the DC area with my husband who is going to school at UAF for petroleum engineering. I studied fine arts in Virginia before making the transition to the dental field. Now that I’m here, I can’t imagine working with a better group of people! Everyone is so nice and patient, and they’ve really helped me feel at home. I enjoy helping patients feel better about their dental care by providing a calm atmosphere and getting to know them on a more personal level.
I like to exercise my creativity by painting, and love going camping, hiking, and driving through the natural beauty that surrounds Fairbanks.
I am from Albuquerque, New Mexico. I love being a dental assistant and helping you maintain and achieve beautiful and healthy smiles. Dr. Wappett is a fantastic dentist to work with. I enjoy working with him and the rest of my team everyday. I have two yellow labs named Allie and Lily. I enjoy camping, hiking and going off road and exploring new trails in this beautiful state of Alaska. I love to dream in buttercream and decorate cakes and cupcakes in my spare time. I hope to continue my career in dental assisting and further my education and become a board certified expanded function dental assistant. Always remember, “You don’t have to floss all your teeth, just the ones you want to keep.”
